We had a great tour guide that made this place very fascinating to explore. A great day out with lots of history

Goncha was great
stars 5 out of 5, Reviewed on

4 Aussies booked 2 half day tours with About Ephesus. Goncha and driver picked us up on time and in a clean comfortable van. Goncha was fantastic. She changed our itinerary for day 1 to avoid as many groups as possible and took us to places others simply don't go. She is young, vibrant, knowledgeable and friendly - we had a great day. Even bought a genuine Turkish carpet after advise from Gonca. Our second half day comes up in a couple of days. We are looking forward to it and have asked - no, demanded - we have Gonca again. We thoroughly recommend for a terrific day out in Ephesus.

Great Trip with Ali

I read so many reviews at Trip Advisor before decided to use the service of Osman Tourism (About Ephesus) and I think that is the right decision. Dealing with Mr. Istemihan Teleri through email exchange was very simple and easy. Mr. Teleri was really responsive and always reply my email very quick and clear. When I arrived at the airport of Izmir, a bad incident happened. My luggage was not there. Turkish Airlines staff was not so professional in handling the lost of my luggage. The tour guide from Osman Tourism, Mr. Ali Camurcu is waiting for me already. He then patiently talk to the Turkish Airlines staff, and he tried to make me calm. His reaction was really nice and made me calm down. Although we have to come back to the airport to pick up the luggage, and we are behind schedule about almost 3 hours, he is still remain to be cheerful. We have 2 days trip with the About Ephesus. On the first day we visited Pergamum and Smyrna, then stay overnight at Kusadasi. I really like Kusadasi, a beautiful small town. On the second day, we visited mother Mary's house, the ancient city of Ephesus and St. John Basilica. Ali was really knowledgeable and reliable, he was also very expert about all the Turkey history. During the trip, there are so many people knows him and respect to him. He took us to have a great lunch at the second day. I was really lucky to have Ali as our guide, and Hassan as our driver. The cost of the trip is US $610 for 2 persons within 2 days including all entrance fee and lunch, but I think it's worth every penny. I would recommend this travel for you who are looking the reliable private travel around Ephesus.

Osman Tours Kusadasi- Incredible Experience

We were met at our cruise ship by Gonca and her driver "Sky High"(sorry, don't know his actual name!) We toured the House of The Virgin Mary, Ephesus, had an amazing lunch and tour at a carpet factory, visited a leather factory/store. Gonca was a great guide with excellent English and very funny. Price was very reasonable. I would certainly recommend Osman Tourism to anybody looking to book a tour in Turkey, and would not hesitate to use them again if we return!

Beautiful site. We had booked from France. Osman Tourism real professionals. No surprise price question, everything is said on booking. Our guide Hallil spoke very good French, very nice boy, well acquainted with his job. I recommend Osman Tourism.

Highlight of our trip!

We arranged a tour of Ephesus while on a cruise, and it was a fantastic tour. Our tourguide was Julia (Hulia?), and she did an excellent job. She was very knowledgable and passionate, amd told great stories about history and mythology. These private tours are the way to go; Ephesus can get very crowded and having a private tour makes the whole experience much more personalized. About Ephesus includes the Terrace Houses in their tours, which is a must-see. After the tour, we had a fully homemade lunch at a lovely local restaurant (Ephesus Handcrafts), which was so delicious. We also got to watch a carpet making demo and did some shopping. I highly recommend this tour, you won't be disappointed!

Superb Guide--Excellent Tour Experience

We booked with About Ephesus Tours through Osman Tourism, and it worked well from beginning to end.. We got an immediate response to our special request for an abbreviated half day tour. Both my husband and I are in our eighties, and do not like to walk long distances any more. Our guide, Arzu Altun, was both knowledgeable and charming and accommodated us perfectly. We had the short tour and the obligatory stop at a carpet area, but with this stop, there was no pressure--only information and a delicious lunch outdoors with grilled brochettes and local vegetables. The entire morning worked out extremely well.I enthusiastically recommend Osman Tourism, and especially Arzu as guide, if you want a wonderful Ephesus experience.

Great Day in Ephesus

We were very pleased with the service we got from About Ephesus. Knowledgeable guide, great lunch included, and we really enjoyed the Turkish Rug lesson/stop. We had no real expectation for this trip, it was a day on our cruise, and we were very pleased with how the day went. Great value, great trip. Would highly recommend this company.

Kusadasi was fantastic!

10 of us just returned from our Mediterranean cruise with a stop in Kusadasi, Turkey and had a fantastic time. All arrangements for our tour were made by emails with Istemihan Teleri of Osman Tourism. Arrived at the Port and were met by our tour guide Hulya (Julia) Acar and driver Aashraf. For 5 hours we saw everything we wanted and more. Julia was very knowledgeable, courteous, patient and professional during our time with her. Our visit to Ephesus was the highlight our cruise. We plan to visit Turkey again and will have no problem using or recommending them to anyone.Ricky KSC, USA

Great tour with Arzu!

We had a family reunion holiday cruise and stopped in Ephesus for a day. We couldn't have spent our day better than a tour with Arzu! We had 8 adults and 16 kids, ranging in ages of 8 to 19. Arzu was able to keep us all engaged. Thanks Arzu!

Testimonials & Reviews

Eight of us on 12 night Mediterranean cruise arranged a tour through Ephesus Tours and were fortunate enough to be met at the cruise terminal by Gonca Kizilhan, a.k.a. Rosie, the most wonderful tour guide in all of Turkey! She was so knowledgeable, was able to answer any question asked of her and had the most pleasant personality.”
