Great service and a very professional guide
We were on a family trip to Ephesus last june and we had a great time. Our knowledgeable guide, Mr Halil , from the company https://ephesusbreeze.com, was very professional, he accommodated all our needs and we enjoyed very much our visit. We greatly recommend this Company if you are traveling to Turkey.
Perfect!
We took a Mediterranean Cruise in July 2014 and booked a private tour with About Ephesus about 2 months in advance. Communication by email was prompt, detailed and helpful. To be honest, I wasn't expecting to enjoy our stop in Turkey. My opinion quickly turned around mostly due to this tour and our guide, Arzu. Arzu was waiting for us when we disembarked and she escorted us to our spotless and very air conditioned (yes!) van with driver. Arzu was sweet and informative. Her English was perfect and her enthusiasm for the history of her country was infectious. We saw everything we wanted to see: the Virgin Mary's House, Terrace Houses, Celsus Library, the Grand Theater, St. John's Basilica and more. Turkey has some amazing ancient ruins! We had a full day of sight-seeing and got back to the cruise ship in plenty of time. The day went very smoothly. I can't think of how they could improve. It was perfect.
Breathtaking
Make sure you have correct footwear.. non slippy soles are the best.. Walking on uneven slippy surfaces of marble and granite. Hot, hot, hot and no shade, so be prepared with lots of sunscreen and hat and take a fan to keep you cool. Lots to see of historical interest.. Walking in Alexander the Great footsteps.Extremely interesting.. Our guide was so informative and enthusiastic. A fabulous day out..
Ephesus
Temple of Artemis was beautiful. Ephesus is also the site of a large gladiators' graveyard. The most amazing is the Library of Celsus founded in 10th century BC It is Still standing, incredible.
GREAT PRIVATE TOUR OF EPHESUS WITH GUIDE ARZU ALTUN
Arzu is an incredibly knowledgeable guide who answered our many questions about Ephesus and went out of her way to make our one-day tour a highlight of our trip to Turkey. My husband and I were picked up at Bodrum, driven by air-conditioned van to Ephesus where we saw Ephesus, the Virgin Mary's house, and went to a restaurant for lunch where we saw a demonstration of Turkish carpet weaving. The driver was very professional, the van spotless, and Arzu was a delight to talk to. It was a very hot day (mid-July) and Arzu even had water bottles ready for us. We spent 2 1/2 hours touring the site and were it not for the heat, would have stayed longer. Booking the tour was easy, communication was effortless. We highly recommend the tour company and Arzu.
About Ephesus
We met five others on cruise critic and one of our group organized this tour with About Ephesus. We met on the ship and they were waiting for us at the exact stated time. The van was lovely and comments by the guide were excellent. When we arrived at the site the tour was extensive. We opted to go to the Terrace Houses, which were excellent to see though be prepared for many steps...a big climb both going up and the path, staircase back down was steep also. On the way back we stopped at their office to pay and where they gave us a book about the site and a box of turkish candy. We also used the restrooms there. Skipping the stores and returning back to the port after the tour gave us time to snack and shop at the port. Headphones would have been a good addition but with such a small group it was boarder line whether they were necessary.
Lots of impressions
It is a must be place in the nearby. Ancient Ephesus city is preserved very well. The only minus is that if you order a group excursion (60 USD per person) they take you to the shops where I personally didn`t want to go at all.
Excellent
A very new min bus was waiting for us promptly and our driver was very professional and courteous. Our guide was excellent. She was able to answer all our questions and was very interesting to listen too. The day was perfect. we thoroughly enjoyed it. Even the carpet shop after lunch was an experience and no one seemed to worry that we didn't buy one. Highly recommend
WOW!
Ephesus is an amazing site and it is one of the most impressive ruins that we've visited. The library is breathtaking. Expect the uneven walking surface, the crowds and the heat if you visit in the summer and be prepared. We carried an insulated backpack with water and sunscreen and we were fine. We wanted to spend a lot more time there, but were on a tour and had to depart with our guide. It's one of the few ruins that we hope to return to.
Visit to Ephesus by Ephesus Tours
An excellent tour. We took a private tour; just my wife and myself. The Guide Tour Filiz was really wonderful and everything was explained and carefully; At lunchtime we had a choice of three restaurants and we chose a typical Turkish restaurant; this was also a good choice. All in all there was nothing to complain about; quite the opposite. Thank you for Filiz and for the company, A very professional tour. The lunch was included with the price and we were given a gift box also.Michael & Minka

Testimonials & Reviews
“Our Guide brought Ephesus to life for us & was extremely informative; we even had people listening to him & complimenting him on being a much better guide than theirs from other companies. He guided us expertly to be at the front of the queues & out of the heat as quickly as possible.”
