Our tour guide from the company ephesusbreeze.com, was great !! she took her time to explain everything and had the patience to wait for us to do photos and buy souvenirs, even helping bargaining some prices. She had a lot of knowledge and was very caring and sweet, definitely I recommend this tour agency to do your travel arrangements !!Worth paying to see the terrace houses! take lots of water is very hot there

We recently returned from a celebrity cruise that began in Italy.The ruins at Ephesus were beyond extraordinary.We were lucky enough to have gone on trip advisor, read lots ofreviews, and Mehsut Yilmaz at ephesusguides was our choice.He sent us the lovely Nilay, she was waiting with the driver rightby the terminal bldg. Not only was she a wonderful person, butvery informative. After the ruins, we were hungry so we had the driver go to Sirince, a medieval looking little village. We had a fantastic lunch over looking the village and surrounds, beautiful.After lunch we shopped, ( great deal on jewelry), unreal.We had some fruit wine,delicious, and then she said:" whatever you guys want to do is fine," we skipped the carpet making andwent to the leather store. Although the selection was great, we bought nothing there and decided to go back to her linen store. A few doors down is Kusadasi leathers. Well, pay no attention to the prices in Euro's on the tags. We got such a great deal on leather jackets and shearlings, it's not to be believed.!!!!$300, 400 .500, US for leathers that are easily 1500-1800 in NY.I want to go back and do it all over again!!!Ron W. We cruised to Ephesus this August and arranged in advance for a private tour with Ephesus Tours, by Ephesus Breeze Tours We had an amazing tour guide- Senem. Our family of five went in a modern, air conditioned Mercedes van with Banu to the Ephesus Ruins and the House of Mary. Banu was knowledgeable, fun and clearly in love with her country. The price was reasonable, when we were done early with the booked tour, she took us to extra sights to fill out the day. We were picked up right off the ship, got great information about the area, Turkey and the culture. I highly recommend Ephesus Tours run by Ephesus Breeze Tours and our guide Senem

I used About Ephesus tours after reading reviews @ tripadvisor.com.We had Emre as our guide. He is an educated, (history major), polite, attentive guide.We were with him for 6 plus hrs. We saw Mary's house, a complete tour of Ephesus and surrounding areas, a great traditional Turkish lunch, a visit to a Tiurkish carpet weaving center and were dropped off @ the Kusadasi shopping area. I highly recommend Emre Dasdemir for your personal guide. He can be reached @ --- or call direct to ---.We have just returned from a 2 week trip to the Med & the day with Emre was truly one of the best of the entire trip!

There ae numerous agencies offering the same and I would recommend the same. It is better to take the audio guide so that you have the freedom to move around. The entrance fees are substantial, if that is not included in your tour - so pl check with the operator. The lunch, if covered in the tour price, is average and the restaurant would fit in at least 500 or more guests at the same time. If you cover both ephesus and other places on the same day, be prepared for a long haul and its quite tiring as well.Spend the evening on th e seashore in Kushadasi and it is fabulous atmosphere. JULY 2010 - We were on a med. cruise and booked a tour of Ephesus in About Ephesus Tours and it was the best tour of the trip. Our guide , EMRE met us at the port, he was knowledegeable and fun. Very easy to get along with and welcomed all our questions. The ride was comfortable and lunch was delicious. They covered most of the major sites and they are very quick to respond to your emails. Would book a tour with them again.....

Our group of eight passengers had a terrific shore excursion to Ephesus, provided by About Ephesus Tours. We were met by Mel, our guide, at the port along with her driver and a modern van. We all fell in love with Mel, who was very friendly, courteous and knowledgable. She made sure that we saw all of the sites, provided us with a great Turkish lunch and went out of her way to ensure that we enjoyed our tour. The price was very reasonable!
