Fantastic Private Tour
stars 5 out of 5, Reviewed on

We were on the Royal Carribean but decded to do a private tour of Ephesus with Atilla Demir. We had a huge van waiting for our family of 4 at the port exit gate .Atilla was a fantastic guide throughout our tour, very knowledgeable, cooperative, piunctual and polite. The vegetarian meal we had requested for was also arranged accordingly and was delicious. In all he made our tour very enjoyable and comfortable. Would definitely recommend him.

Perfect Tour

We stopped in Ephesus on our Royal Caribbean tour. I decided to book a tour for my husband and I without going through the excursion on the cruise. So happy we did! We had a private tour with an amazing guide who was extremely knowledgeable! We had a private van that took us to the ruins, a place where they make turkish rugs (where lunch was included), then we went to a leather store and made some purse and belt purchases! It was so interesting, so glad we booked it! Great experience!!!!

Terrific Tour

We were on a cruise and we booked the tour before we left home. There are not enough adjectives to describe how wonderful and memorable the tour and entire day was. We were picked up on time at the dock and left on time for our tour. We met our guide Nafia at the gate of the port and she was punctual, professional and smart. We had a very comfortable and spacious Mercedes Van just for the two of us drive by Umit. We were given so much wonderful information on what we were going to see and what we were seeing along the drive to Ephesus. So much history. Our itinerary was one day Biblical Tour visiting the House of Virgin Mary, Ephesus Ancient City, St. John's Basilica, the Temple of Artemis and The Seven Sleeper’s Cave. Lunch at a small country restaurant was included and it was delicious! The tour of Ephesus itself was unbelievable. Our guide and driver were so knowledgeable and easy to understand. It was easy to ask questions and get answers from them. Thank you Nafia and Umit for a terrific day!If we get to the area again, we will definitely book with Osman Tourism again. We highly recommend this company.

Amazing Ephesus

The tour of the amazing and historical sites of Ephesus are not to be missed. We were met at the cruise port and made the short drive to Ephesus. The Temples and Ancient City are filled with so much history. The House of the Virgin Mary was an amazing highlight. We enjoyed a delicious Turkish lunch at the School of Carpet making overlooking a garden setting. After lunch, we were given a tour of how the carpets are hand-made. We weren't in the market to purchase a carpet, but enjoyed the setting. Our guide, Ugur, was very knowledgeable and provided a thoroughly detailed tour of the ancient ruins. If you are interested in an abundance of historical facts, he would be ideal. We enjoyed our visit to Ephesus and would recommend visiting the sites.

Wonderful, Moving Ephesus Tour

Since we were on a cruise,my husband and I decided to take a private tour with driver of Ephesus since we had limited time. This was an excellent decision. We were met at the port at 7:30 AM, so we could beat the crowds. Our guide Gonca had a complete knowledge of the history and sights.Since we left so early, we were the only people at The House of the Virgin Mary making it a extremely moving experience. We also were early enough to beat the crowds at The Temple of Artemis and the Ancient City of Ephesus. We enjoyed a carpet demonstration and ceramic demonstration without any pressure to buy. We had a delicious lunch at an open air restaurant. This was all included in our tour fee. We would highly recommend About Ephesus tours.

Our About Ephesus Tours was the best

Our tour of Ephesus was the highlight of our cruise. We shared a private tour with another couple who made all the arrangements before we left home. This way we were able to customize where we wanted to go. We explained we had no interest in visiting a carpet demonstration since our time in Ephesus was limited and we would rather spend the time seeing the Terrace Houses. It worked out perfectly. Our guide, Koray, was a wealth of knowledge and very helpful. We had lunch at a delicious open-air restaurant and it was delightful to have a chance to talk to Koray about what life is like in Turkey in 2015 and not 2,000 years ago:-) I accidentally left my eye glasses in the van but didn't realize it until we had boarded our ship. I emailed About Ephesus Tours and explained my problem. I got a quick response back that my glasses had been found on the van and that they would mail them to me at home which is exactly what happened. Do not hesitate to use this company. They are very professional and easy to work with and do what they promise.

1/2 day tour to Ephesus was a highlight for us.

Jem from About Ephesus Tours picked us up at the cruise pier at 8:30 a.m. He was so knowledgeable about the area and the things we had wanted to see. Our tour consisted of seeing the ancient city of Ephesus, the terrace houses - which were amazing, and then seeing how silk carpets were made. That was very interesting and there was no pressure to buy anything. We also had a traditional lunch in a garden area. The 1/2 day was wonderful and one of the highlights of our cruise.

Not only were we met on time, but had a delightful driver and a separate tour guide. We knew exactly what we wanted to see and they created the day experience all around our requests. Our Itinerary: The Temple of Artemis - The Ancient City of Ephesus –Terrace Houses - The House of Virgin Mary - Traditional Lunch. The lunch was delicious, better than any tourist restaurant. The entire day was meaningful and more than we had hoped.

Perfect summerday in Ephesus
stars 5 out of 5, Reviewed on

Ephesus is one of the cities one must see when visiting west coast of Turkey. We spent a lovely summer day walking through the city ruins and learning about history of this ancient city. Ephesus is located in a valley between high hills and sceneries where really wonderfull on beautiful summer day. Especially big theatre and library are worth to see. Our guide - Sigdem Göktas from Neon - was very friendly and told all about the history of this magnificient city. She was very friendly and answered to all our questions patiently. Sigdem led the tour with experience and warmth taking good care of us on whole tour. In the end she even helped me to continue my trip to southwards - to Kusadasi. This tour was worth of money. Good work!

Ephesus

We went to Turkey and the key reason was a trip to Ephesus. I know we could get a Dolmus for peanuts but decided on on tour with feztravel? So much easier. We were picked up at our hotel miles away from kusadasi, in a comfortable bus! Our guide, Hansa was great, she made it a great day, and planed it so it missed most of the busy times, even though there were tw cruise ships also in kusadasi. As well as Ephesus we were taken for lunch at a traditional Turkish restaurant and a visit to carpet and leather places. Al, really great and very cheap. Best bit was I asked if we could buy some Turkish tea cups and Hensa arranged a detour to a nice shop selling ceramics. Well done feztravel, and special thanks to Hesna

Testimonials & Reviews

We were on a 2-week cruise throughout the Mediterranean and thanks to reading reviews like this one, we decided to book a private tour through Ephesus Breeze. It turned out to be one of our best decisions on the trip and one that I would recommend without any reservation.”
