Great company

Wonderful tour of Ephesus! Sinan was very knowledgeable and passionate about turkey and its ancient history, and we enjoyed our time with him very much! Ephesus Tours also custom arranged a trip to the national park for us, which was lovely!

wonderful and amazing

Do not waste anytime thinking if you should use this company or not - DO IT!! From our first enquiry with Chase it was all so easy. We sent numerous emails to him listing what we would like to see and do and he put together an amazing package. Having read other experiences we asked for Ali and he did not disappoint. There were five of us and we had the best time we have ever had. From the moment of being picked up in a clean cool van we were whisked away to Ephesus while Ali explained everything to us along the way. Ali went with us to see Ephesus, we did not have to get tickets as he had this all arranged for us. We did not know much about Ephesus to start with and Ali made it funand interesting and we now know so much.Ali was so knowledgeable of everything and we would not have ever had a clue of what things were without him. Even at the end where there are so many buses and cars to collect people our driver was able to get in closer to avoid as walking far in the heat.We went to a beautiful village and had an amazing lunch by the locals and then went for a walk in their beautiful village. The village is Sirince Village. We also saw other highlights along the way that we had wanted to see such as Temple of Artemis. There was so many wonderful highlights with this tour we just cannot list everything. We said what we wanted to do and see and the tour was customised just for us.Please do not waste any time like I did researching which company to use just go with this company and if you get Ali you will never regret it.We paid so much less then what the cruise ship wanted and we saw heaps more, experienced local life, were totally relaxed in our own air-conditioned van and had our own wonderful guide Ali and a wonderful driver as well.We had a six week trip and this was certainly the highlight of our trip for the 5 of us.Just another thing do pay the extra 10 euros per person to see the Terrace Houses well worth it and with Ali guiding the way it is amazing!Simon, Esther, Simon, Michelle and Mark

Customized tour for our family
stars 5 out of 5, Reviewed on

We had a WONDERFUL tour yesterday with our guide Arzu Altun. The cruse ship cancelled the tour we wanted to go on due to not enough English speakers signing up.So with less than 1 day's notice, Ephesus Tours was able to arrange a customized tour for our family to enable us to see exactly what we desired at our own pace on our day in port Izmir.Arzu was waiting for us with a sign of our name at the entrance to the port. They even provided a full sized a/c van and carseat for our 15 mo old baby! She greeted us along with the driver warmly and away we went. They provided us with bottles of water and some souvenirs as well - wondertul touch of hospitality. We saw the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, the House of the Virgin Mary (our favorite place so far - SO peaceful) where we were allowed extra time for prayer and shopping at our request. The icon shops there were incredibly beautiful and surprisingly affordable - better bargains by far than our tour sanctioned souvenir shop in Jerusalem and the proceeds go to maintain the Holy Site there in Ephesus. We also saw the ruins at Ephesus and the Terrace Houses - very impressive and meant so much more with Arzu telling us the significance of what each group of ruins was.Lastly we went for a traditional Turkish lunch (not crowded, lovely breeze on a terrace) at a local rug weaving school/coop. We enjoyed a tour of the rug weaving process and a demonstration of how these rugs are woven by hand. There was no hard sale/pressure to buy a rug and the demonstration was very interesting.Arzu was GREAT with our baby and kind to help us with anything at all during our day (finding us clean restrooms, taking our picture, answering questions, etc...The only time of any stress was on the return from Ephesus as the traffic back to the port of Izmir was terribly heavy. What mapquest said was 50-60 minutes was every bit of a 90 minute drive once factoring in the traffic. We were so worried that we might miss the onboard call and meet a closed ship (would have been a super tragedy as we left 2 older children onboard in the kids club).Thankfully when we arrived there just in time and there were 2-3 other Costa sponsored excursion buses also just arriving and we knew they would wait for those passengers and so we were ok.[Exhale and smile]Arzu, thank you for a memorable day in your lovely homeland of Turkey!

Sights on the Aegean coast

I have been to Turkey 7 times in the last 3 years. My visit started with Ephesus, Aphrodisias, Izmir, Denizli, Bogazkent, Didima, Miletus, Priene, Pamukale, Bodrum, then Rivera - Old Town of Antalya, Manavgat - Waterfalls and Mosque, Cappadocia. I can only say I have not got everything seen. But it is a dream to be interested in culture and history. We visited these sites in the context of round trips. I can only recommend and rate these attractions with excellent.

We were picked up promptly and our guide Erhart spoke good English and was very knowledgable. The drive was long but our guide took us around Ephesus and told us all about the site. We stayed at a nice hotel with a good evening meal and breakfast,We had plenty of time to spend at Pamukkale, which was fun and interesting. The carpet factory was very interseting too

This was our favorite tour of our entire trip. we were on the celebrity cruise ship and made a stop in Ephesus. We chose https://ephesusbreeze.com and absolutely loved the tour company. Our guide was Filiz Capraz and she was fabulous! This tour gave us more and allowed us more than we could ever imagine. Filiz was friendly, informative, funny, accommodating, caring, even bought a shirt for herself, but when we got on the bus the girls and I loved it so she gave it to us! You will learn so much about Ephesus and truly enjoy your time there! thanks Filiz for a fabulous trip. Hope you had a blessed, beautiful wedding and we get to see you again. The Powells from CA

We booked our tour through aboutephesus with Osman Tourism. Our guide Gonca was fantastic. The ancient city of Ephesus tour was fabulous. We learned so much about Turkey and the ruins. This was the way to see the ruins, a guide, a private car and very special treatment.

seeing Ephesus in a personal way

We can't wait to see Ephesus in a personal way. We found this tour company ... Osman Tourism, Mr. Teleri, on the internet ... and have been so blessed by his personal care and concern. Our tour will be on Oct. 9. If you are on a cruise (as we will be), check this out. You will be blessed!!!

Ephesus and Pamukkale

Did a two day tour -this was outstanding, there were several hundred people at Ephesus but don't think there will ever be a time when this site will be quiet. Well worth a visit. Went with Thomas Cook and stayed in a lovely hotel overnight then went on to Pamukkale, pictures and words do not do the place justice and well worth doing the two centre visit. All meals were included so at £98 each we found this excellent value for money.it cost £10 to swim in Cleopatras pool, but once again if you go all that way you would be foolish not to take the plunge, the water is crystal clear and soft and warm. I would recommend this tour.Mary M

Excellent Tour and Guide

We took the day tour of Ephesus with Selda through aboutephesus. It was an amazing tour and she is an excellent guide. The ruins are amazing and she really brings them to life. The terrace houses were a major hit with my family. The house of the Virgin Mary is very spiritually moving. This was money well spent. I highly recommend not missing this stop. If you have doubts ask for Selda as your guide she is excellent. Thanks again aboutephesus and Selda for a very memorable day.

Testimonials & Reviews

Our Guide brought Ephesus to life for us & was extremely informative; we even had people listening to him & complimenting him on being a much better guide than theirs from other companies. He guided us expertly to be at the front of the queues & out of the heat as quickly as possible.”
