Great Experience
We took Ephesus tour from Kusadasi in October 2014.Julia, our guide, was very knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. The driver was great too, no issues whatsoever.Everything was on time and extremely professional.5 star rating!
Ephesus Tour
Korey our tour guide ''https://ephesusbreeze.com'' was extremely knowledgeable. We were a bit delayed getting off boat (our safe broke) and we contacted the company and everything was handled very professionally by them. We met Korey where we had agreed upon and travelled in a comfortable van.It was really hot (September) and Ephesus is a lot of walking. I would have gone more quickly through the beginning to spend more time in the terrace houses and the library. We were tired by the end and that is where the more interesting ruins were.Lunch and the carpet making tour were very interesting. They do want you to buy, and prices are good, but once we told them we weren't interested in buying, it was fine.If you want indepth detailed information regarding history and ruins, Korey is your guy!
Like having a friend show you their city
We had a wonderful time with Filiz and our driver Alp with About Ephesus ToursWe were met at the ship, as promised, by a smiling Gonca. She walked us to a very clean and comfortable van. We left quickly for Ephesus. Along the way she explained the history of the area and asked us what our preferences were. We chose to not see the home of Virgin Mary. Walking up the pine tree path while listening to the history was capped off by the site of the stadium. Through out the area Filiz took pictures of us together and answered any questions we had. She then gave us time to visit on our own. There is a small shopping area outside the gates, after perusing we got back in the van for a short tide to a lovely carpet making demonstration. Watched them spin silk from the silk worms and then knot the carpets before going inside to look at all the beautiful carpets. There was no pressure to purchase. We then had a fantastic lunch outside, surrounded by olive trees and the smell of bbq. I am hoping to get the recipe for the lamb burgers (!). The food was fresh and we felt we truly were invited to a friends home for lunch. This was not a cafeteria lunch type experience at all - this was a family picnic environment. On the ride back to our ship we chatted and I felt so fortunate to have had such an educational and beautiful day.
An amazing day!
This is an excellent tour. Our day at Ephesus was one of the highlights of our 7 weeks travelling. Our guide Rosie structured our day perfectly. A wonderful mix of sightseeing, shopping and food. I highly recommend this tour. We were picked up and returned to our ship on time and without any stress.
Ephesus
Wonderful archeological park, I learned a little more about this civilization so much we love it. A very easy site to visit, a corridor where we enjoyed wonderful columns and sculptures commencing with the stunning library and the theater. They are the best preserved ruins I have ever seen. worth the ride.
Wonderful Visit!
Booked a one day tour from Istanbul to Ephesus and could not have been more pleased with the wonderful service and outstanding visit. We did not confirm our tour until late the night before (don't try this at home), but Arzu from Ephesus Tours was there at the airport first thing the next morning waiting for us. Great car and driver and extremely knowledgeable about the region, its history, and its culture. She had just the right blend of engaging and giving us time to see things on our own. The terrace houses at Ephesus were incredible and the highlight of the day, although the delightful garden lunch at the weaving center was a close second. We have a house full of Persian rugs or would have come home with a silk beauty or two. Many thanks to Arzu and the team....
Great tour!
6 of us toured Ephesus from a HAL cruise. Arzu, our guide, was great. She's highly educated and knowledgeable so was able to give us an abundance of information on the area. Ephesus is beyond words...it's a must see. We arrived early enough to miss the masses off the cruise ship tours...well planned. Our trip was in a large, comfortable van with a stop for a traditional lunch at an outdoor patio of a rug manufacturer/dealer. It was interesting to see the entire process from pulling silk from the cocoon, dying and weaving, but it was a sales stop. Nonetheless, lunch was excellent. We had a great day!
Fantastic tour with knowledgeable guide
We organised a private tour through Ephesus Tours visiting a number of different sites around the region. We were met at the airport in Izmir, and then taken around by Koray. He was a fantastic guide - very knowledgable and friendly. He rearranged our travels so that we would miss most of the other tourists. The highlights were the library and the terrace houses. It is definitely worth those few extra dollars to see the terrace houses. Most tourists don't pay the extra and so the place was much quieter than the rest of the site. This is an experienced company - they know ther history and their market and so provide an exceptional service.

Wondering what to see?
The Terrace houses
The houses built on the terraces on the slopes of Mount Koressos were inhabited by the wealthy families of the city. The first houses are dated to the 1st century AD and they had been used with some renovations until the city was abandoned.

Testimonials & Reviews
“Eight of us on 12 night Mediterranean cruise arranged a tour through Ephesus Tours and were fortunate enough to be met at the cruise terminal by Gonca Kizilhan, a.k.a. Rosie, the most wonderful tour guide in all of Turkey! She was so knowledgeable, was able to answer any question asked of her and had the most pleasant personality.”
